Without getting into it… I relate to this song. Almost too much (minus the happy ending so to speak). Royce is brilliant on this track. Melodic, deep, inspiring without being preachy… and the song breathed Hip Hop.
I heard the album and was blown away. I heard the song and almost cried. A notable MC came out last year and had the audacity to say that Hip Hop doesn’t have songs that make you feel like this.
